I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

hip deep in pie

Yay Bob.

Readers, I ordered the first wedges!

Those were my favourites too.

People, stop it with Belinda picture. I don't think I could be in the same house with that thing for a minute. BUT, you did make me laugh like a fool after a meeting where one of my colleagues tried to stage a coup on me chairing the committee. Sigh.

Did she take her pimp hat?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh, Lee. Totally falling down on the job.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Has everyone perished in the heat?

Maybe just their servers.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Go glad for good Bob news!!

For Daisy Jane in light of our Natter conversation last night (before the Belinda thread derailment.)

Thankfully, I think I am inside for the rest of the day. I am trying to clear my invoice inbox as well as get ebay listings up. also really need to call the pharm for a refill. I'll do that now.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

It's my mom's 82nd birthday today. I called to wish her a happy b-day and she read me a card my very funny 14-year-old niece sent her. Niece wrote "82 is the new 70," which my mom found hilarious.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

the stretch between Greensboro and Charlotte is so dull

85 amych? Or 40? With 85 it could be races at Concord, or the giant super outlet mall, always a traffic magnet. I miss my MiL. I do not miss the two-hour gauntlet between Lexington and Matthews to get to her house.

Good luck on the fencing!
