Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What is the difference between dress slacks and slacks for women? I figure this might be an easily lost nuance in the dress code, but I at least want to know what I might be flouting.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Ginger beer is da bomb. I tend to bring a bottle on car trips with certain car-sickness-prone-people.

Because books.

I usually fight nausea with a few crackers first.

ita, maybe fabric? Like, not plain cotton or khaki?

Coding and Sleeping

I've found anti-nausea medicine to be effective for me.

Also those wristband things can help (or just pressing down on the same pressure point.)

Tommy, if you can get someone to press three fingers on the inside of each your wrists for a minute or so (pressing really hard into the corded veins you can feel there), that should help.

Note, pressing yourself on one wrist can also get rid of hiccups.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

When I was pregnant I found that Gripe Water (usually found in the baby section) works surprisingly well.

Definitely not khaki--those are called out. In my head, dress slacks are lined, but this is southern California, and they can't possibly want women who are not me to only wear lined pants all year long.

I've never thought about it too closely, but I would think that dress slacks/slacks for women/trousers all would be roughly synonymous. And opposed to more casual leg wear like jeans/chinos/khakis/cargo pants.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I think Gripe Water has fennel in it which is supposed to be good for nausea.

That meeting I had with the Director of our United Way last Friday must have went well. When I took the kids to the bakery for donuts and coffee today, I ran into her and she complimented me on my report. That felt really good. I hadn't done that much in-depth research in nearly 20 years so the feedback was most welcome.
