Also, Loki is less limpy. Still favoring his right hip, but able to chase a fake mouse and jump and stand while he eats (part that freaked me out was when he lay down and dragged the bowl over to eat, with the sore leg stretched weirdly behind him, in the air.)
I'm thinking he just strained something. But it hurt, because he growling and cried at me when I probed back when it happened and he never does that.
Actually, the overdraft protection I used to have was that it charged the difference to a credit card, not "let it go through and fee me up" so I understood the term differently. Penalties!= protection to me.
I learned to tie cherry stems with my tongue in high school when I had second period lunch and the only thing left in the fruit salad bowl was cherry stems and pineapple juice. It requires some pretty unsexy facial contortions, IMO.
I can fit my fist in my mouth, but I never thought it was meant to be sexy. More like I have freakishly small hands or a freakishly big mouth.
I remember reading an article about people who had overdraft protection, got to the end of their checking account without realizing it, and then made a whole bunch of little purchases (coffee, newspaper, lunch, etc.) with the check card and got charged a fee for each one, adding up to several hundred dollars over just a few days. There was one man who had a developmental disability, and he and his family had agreed that he could get a check card, but not a credit card, so that there would be a limit on his spending, since he wasn't very good at remembering what he'd spent and how much money he had left. They asked the bank to decline the card if he tried to spend more than he had in his account, and the bank said no.
Argh.
I need to buy a toddler bed so my mom has some place to sleep (as in we'll boot noah from his big boy bed and move Grace's crib to a more central locale. Argh.
Oh, adorable Loki. I hope he feels better soon.
I am so clueless on yard sales.
I dunno. I freecycle so that people will come take things with minimal fuss for me. Which? Worked out awesome today. Three things listed a couple of hours ago and the third just was taken away.
Well, we're having a block yard sale, so I figure to take advantage of it.
Loki seems to be doing a lot better.
Kat, since you only need a bed for guests on occasion, maybe an aerobed?
I love that my friday nights now always involve email chains planning saturday morning's trip to the market with a circle of neighbors. Though I am a little alarmed that we keep pushing the go-time earlier!
Something in my life has become very odd: I'm watching children's tv at 10 o'clock on a Friday night, putting off going to bed.
