We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

They make fake B&B in four by eight sheets. The real stuff looks so much better, but it's a pain to do, plus, way more expensive.

And these days, the wood is total crap and generally way too crooked.

Being kicked out of Walmart is a feat.

Noah and Grace are siting in Grandpa's living room playing with books and reading. The lack of humidity in Idaho is not good for our little girl. Well, neither is the altitude. Her pulse ox levels were low on the first day but have adjusted. Poor noodle.

In other news, Idaho is making me fat(ter).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's weird listening to the booms out the window and seeing the fireworks on the tv. Next year, I go outside!!

I know, right? And even in Alabama. (which..yeah, I shouldn't stereotype., but I've run into so many things down there, even at the University, that just make my jaw drop to the floor and spluttering some vague pushback.) Bama is...different. I'm grateful for the people my brother and SIL are, so my nephews don't get some of those attitudes. It was interesting to watch my SIL's interactions with other parents at school registration. She talked with everyone and made tons of line-friends, but there were some clear class and race distinctions happening there.

I can hear booms outside, but can't see the fireworks from my porch.

The light in my kitchen burned out, and when I went to replace it it's a weird little halide bulb or something. Have to stop by a hardware store tomorrow and pick one up. Gives me an excuse not to finish the dishes tonight!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Apparently, my brother got asked to leave WalMart today. I am so proud... WTF?

I have no idea what this is about, but getting thrown out of Trump Tower and Empire State Building and WTC on the same day is something my BFF and I look back on with pride.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Uncontrollable giggle fits?

Trump - we tried to get into a private elvator and were hastily escorted out. ESB I cannot remember but it was right around closing so I think we were trying to get up after hours. WTC Val's heights issues suddenly reared their heads so we were camped out in the lobby to the point that it apparently made them nervous.

That was the same weekend we mapped out Manhattan from the WTC to Central Park by figuring out the distance from one Gap to another. Walked the whole distance without more than 1/4 mile between Gaps.
