I did nothing for Megan but empathize--I have been felled many a time by nausea with my migrianes, including one 4th of July weekend (I think?) when Smonster and Amyth were visiting.
Yep. We felt so bad.
As someone of my acquaintance noted, at least the panties were bulldog red.
Ha! Can you imagine the scandal if they'd been yellow and black striped?
Or worse, orange and blue.
Pool closed for maintenance. Unfortunately, too late to drive to the other Y before it closes too. Bah. I should've gone earlier rather than sitting around reading.
Is it humid enough where you just swim through the air? And there is always the harbor.
Waiting for uncle g to pick up mac and then I am heading to soho to shop at pearl river and maybe hit up some street vendors or kid robot.
Humidity is low for here, 30%. Going to go run errands, come home and clean and do my nails.
I love Kid Robot. And Pearl River.
Parade has been marched. Farmers Market is short a pound of cherries and we are home.
Later we are meeting up with friends to listen to Firefall and watch fireworks. Kelly has to work today, but hopefully she can join us mid-concert.
I was going to mow the lawn, but we went and got gas, and it started just spewing out.
No lawnmowing today.
But we took the dog for a walk, and now I am gross. Shower in a few minutes.
I don't know if there will be fireworks tonight; it looks like rain.
ETA: Yeah, it's pretty much thunderstorms after 6 here. I think I will make up some teriyaki chicken, and maybe make a strawberry shortcake. M. hasn't watched Harry Potter; maybe we'll see if that's on Netflix and go for it.
We made an America flag cake, and Casper said, "You should tke a picture and put it on the internet for the Buffistas, so they can learn how to make one, too."
I didn't tell her I thought y'all could figure it out (13x9" cake, white frosting, blueberries and strawberries.)
