meara, Can you tapas this?
No, I cannot tapas that. But yes, it was the color, from googling that looks and sounds about right (though the pictures I saw don't convey the color well at all, the description sounds right)
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Only 8-10 more hours of travel.
More exciting details of the UGA athletic director DUI incident: at every home game, he appears in an anti-drunk driving ad on the jumbotron, saying, "You drink, you drive, you lose." Also, he was arrested 6 minutes before the start of his new contract, the one with the $100,000 raise (to $550K) and the guaranteed $20K annual raise until 2015, at which point if he re-signs he gets a $500K bonus. Note the the Georgia university system is in a major budget crisis, no regular staff have had raises the last 2 years, and they've just raised tuition significantly, causing student outcry.
As someone of my acquaintance noted, at least the panties were bulldog red.
Kaylee is indeed adorable! I hope the cats soon come around to accepting her.

Heh. Ugh.
I have had another pancake fail with the damn electric stove. I really need to work on this. I guess more pancakes are in my future....
Burrell, the detergent is:
1 c Borax
1 c Arm & Hammer washing soda
1 c liquid soap (I use Ivory)
2 c water
You have to mix it really well to get all incorporated and warm to hot water is better. It tends to separate and need mixing before each use. I have heard, but have not tested, that mixing over low heat helps dissolve everything better.
I use about a 1/4 c for a wash.
Timelies y'all.
CJ and I are up, dressed in our karate gear and are heading out for the parade. Hoping we have a big group from the dojo. Then I'm planning a NAP before we go out tonight. Slept like heck last night.
did all the stuff planned this morning. yay. also made coffee so I'll have iced coffee at home for the next few days.
it is hot outside. I am taking my parasol today.
Timelies all!
We're planning to go down to the Folklife Festival, and then to the Capitol for fireworks. Being lazy at the moment.
Reading the plans for the 4th amuse me, because in Utah, the celebrations are essentially over, since today's a Sunday. Kind of sad, but if it means the rest of the country is doing other things other than needing tech support, all to the good.
