So today: market, nap, 1.75 mile swim, Target and TJs, raked and bagged up the leaves out from (WTF, linden tree?! A whole damned full bag!) and picked up, vacuumed and mopped the second floor and stairs.
Things I did not do: eat. Oops. Rectifying that now.
Sue, one of the neat things about all our houses being pretty much identical originally is seeing how people have changed things or decorated differently. They may be the same footprint, but people use the spaces so differently. It's fascinating.
I'm leaving for the airport in about two and a half hours, and I am not yet all the way packed.
Oops.
flea, I do like that second suit a lot, and I think it might work really well on you.
Pack, Perkins!
I missed a few spots on my back when sunscreening before the beach today. Ouch.
I think this [link] might actually look better on me since I have kind of a bony expanse of chest above my wide-set breasts. Advice?
I think you may be right. Also, you are long-waisted, no? It might be more flattering to cut that optically with the horizontal of the bikini.
flea, I like the second one. It might be a better fit if you have a long torso, too. I love LE swim suits. I can always find something to fit that looks decent.
Sara, ours were all originally 1.5 stories, 60 years ago. Monay of them have additions of some sort--mine doesn't. It's really neat to see all the ways people have dealt with the limitations of a small house.
I recorded the Scrappy episode of HH, but have not watched it yet. We had my sister's birthday shenanigans today, which involved a newly discovered apple orchard that makes and sells authentic traditional ciders. They also offer tastings. I am now a little buzzed and have two bottles of awesome cider.
To clarify, that's HARD cider.
Guacamole and chips are an acceptable dinner, right? The kids had hot dogs but I stuffed myself on the guac.
Of course!
Megan, I hope your ears get their act together soon. I will say, I only ever had kind of medium-ish vertigo, but the not-bad-at-all vertigo I still get when I fly is kind of fun....
