The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

So it turns out I am not going to be able to do a road trip to Canada to go to the big Fluevog sale. Woe! But I can console myself with the fact that tomorrow is the neighborhood-wide yard sale day. 100+ yard sales to go check out, whee!

Just watched Grey's. Good lord.

Seriously. A late night watching led to a very tense dream this morning. It ended on a good note, but there was MUCH tension and chasing. Ugh.

Oddly, a Baltimore mention on FNL. Locally based company.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

You know, putting your fist in your mouth implies that you can service some dude with junk AS BIG AS A FIST, which, frankly, makes me want to run and hide my magical ladyparts forever.

I need to develop a plan of attack this weekend to combat what seems to be a fairly widespread practice by Verizon to vex former customers.

I'm getting robo calls from what turns out to be a collections call center based in a prison...not a typo.

Not only am I NOT in collections with anyone, much less Verizon...I've actually overpaid by $40. According to the young lady in the service center I called this evening, it will take 6 MONTHS to get that amount refunded.

AAAAAgggghh.

Forums suggest that this particular collections service calls lots of recently canceled-account holders.

If this rubbish ends up on my credit report...I'm not sure I'll be responsible for my actions.

I've been trying to avoid saying choad.

Hey, I could totally teach the "tying cherry stem in a knot with your tongue" class at buffista academy. And I gotta say, it...mostly ends up with crowds of people around me who want to figure out how to do it, rather than being all "oooh, damn, this clearly means you have mad skillz in bed!"

Yeah, we had this situation with Verizon. Not only did they charge us for service occurring after they turned it off (we were moving), after many calls, it was clear that no one was doing anything to actually update the record or solve the problem besides saying that it will update in the next billing cycle... then it didn't and went into collections at which point no one could do anything about anything.

It went on Tom's credit report. It sucked. We still get calls/letters occasionally.

I will never, ever use any Verizon product.
