I was unsure whether I had the right episode, and then Scrappy's DH said, "Basically, a landscape FAIL," and I knew I was watching Buffistas.
Weren't you raving about Carmen, Scrappy? She does seem pretty awesome. They did a great job; the yard looks SO COOL. I can't believe they did all that in four fucking days.
I was up early this morning but didn't think about turning on the tv until after 9am. I checked to see what time the show was on, and wah! There it was on my tvguide taunting me with my lateness. Please let it rerun soon!
The kids and I just watched Scrappy and DH. Such a pretty yard. Do you use the outdoor deck? I LOVE the fence details. And the front porch inlay.
Gary looked at the scoreboard and said "GER! ARG!"
Hee!
I just watched a little Tour de France. It's a very sport-o-riffic time of year.
Loved watching Scrappy and DH!!! What a gorgesou yard you (now) have, and the corner lot is really showcased now. BTW, I loved your blue house color (really beautiful shade), but the new sage green is equally pretty, and the brown trim is great. And your dogs are definitely potential scene stealers, the little of them we saw.
What do your neighbors and family think about the new yard?
Mmm mcdonalds.
I need to salvage the day a bit and get some stuff done. Mac has agreed to help get one box packed in his room, so maybe that and laundry.
I haven't done shit yet, but am considering shoe shopping....
Skipping at the other end of shabbat because according to the Buffista Calendar today is one of those lovely double Buffista events: it's both sj's birthday as well as Beverly and her DH's anniversarry.
Happy birthday, sj! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
Happy day, Beverly & DH! With lots of wishes for a wonderful year together!
I have been to the farmers market, took two prints to get framed (which means no new dresses for me), watered the garden, washed the siding on one side of the house.
The one thing I really needed to do was get to the vet and buy cat food. I remembered about 5 minutes after the vet closed.
Thank you wonderful Buffistas. Yes, our neighbors do really like it--when I am out weeding or watering, people stop all the time to say nice things. People even slow down their cars and yell compliments out their windows!
Vortex, the rug is a printed woven sisal from Pier One. It was wicked cheap, too.
I don't know if the episode is going to be online--I will check and see. I think it may be repeated later today, HGTV does that.
