Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am currently watching Scrappy on TV, which is AWESOME.

Other plans for the weekend include a family outing TBD, but I'm considering pitching a Trolley Tour I already have the tickets for, except I'm afraid it will be too hot and crowded. But it does include a little boat tour, which would be nice. Hmmm. We'll see what mom says.

Other than that, I plan to laze around, do laundry, maybe get a pedicure, and who knows what else. Maybe hang out in the courtyard at the library.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm at my parents being told by my three year-old that I am not allowed to play with him because he wants Bubbe to play with him. I am chopped liver, and taking full advantage of it.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I am supposed to be packing for a trip to Door County, but instead I am refreshing the page at my favorite LJ community waiting for more comment fic. Sigh. Must get started.

information libertarian

I washed sneakers (and 3 other loads of laundry), swept the front sidewalk, went through fall clothes for Dillo (thanks to Cashmere we need basically NOTHING, thank you!) paid bills, and helped carry 2 4x8 sheets of drywall. So far.

It's hot. And technically only 77.

Aww, Megan and I were hopin it was an hour show, cause we just woke up. But it was other people who are not scrappy. Sad.

And now we have Argentina/Germany on and it's kinda pathetic.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Wah, bad Tivo! It didn't record Scrappy! There's another episode tomorrow morning- do we dare hope that it's the same ep??? Man, Tivo, you are ON THE LIST.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

It'll probably repeat sometime, Nora. We just watched it and it was a fun, yet totally odd experience to see ourselves on a show we regularly watch. DH hates his voice and thought he sounded like a jerk, but I thought he was adorable and has a wonderful voice. I was not embarrassed at myself, although I sure wish I had one less chin.

Not enough of our dogs in the show, I thought. They are the true stars of the house.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I wish I had TV and cabl so I could see Scrappy and the World's Best Husband!

msbelle, I pour th vinegar, then the peroxide. You might want to spot test carpet for bleaching. Then I use my little green clean machine and suck it up. It works wonders with clothing in the wash,

I just watched the Sandra Bullock movie The Proposal, which was cute, but when did she start looking EXACTLY like Marcia Gay Harden. Also, I keep wishing she was Jennifer Garner.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
