Happy Birthday, Frank!
35 was my favorite birthday, sarameg. I looked forward to it for about 20 years. Back at that time I appeared much younger than my years and in my mind people would start taking me seriously at 35 and stop treating me like a kid. It was all in my head of course, but I was so delighted to finally be 35.
Well, I brought dirty laundry to my parents' just last week, but then, I'd been in B'ham for 5 days already....besides, it is nice coming home with a bag full of clean laundry when I don't get in until midnight and have to go to work the next morning.
Interesting factoid: my average daily water use (at home) is 65 gallons. Doesn't count the shower at the pool or water I drink at work. But interesting to think of. Pretty sure I don't use that much regularly, the laundry loads add up every other weekend.
Laura, I'm pretty sure that 35 can't really outdo 33/34. That fucking rocked. I think I just don't like the number 35.
Cash, what's the context?
What's the opposite of "commodity?"
In computers it could be "proprietary".
eta: Or not. I'm thinking proprietary:open standard.
Creeping up on you at odd moments, eh?
I'm gonna start calling you Texas.
really cutiehead? feeling bold now that I'll be more than 5 hours away?
Oh, honey, I've always been bold. Texas. Hey, wonder if you'll thicken up the accent. It's urban, so maybe not. OTOH, I never had a drawl until NC, and it still comes out.
