That's my girl, large and in-charge. Okay, teensy-weensy and in charge.

Office is closed now. Boss is dropping me off at the bar.

TCU turns out to be closed today. No word on tomorrow yet.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Happy Birthday, -t!

My mom near Ft. Worth has about 4 inches of snow, but says tomorrow is supposed to get up to 40, so hopefully it will all be gone by the time we fly out on Sat.

I'd make sure your seats are all confirmed for Saturday because that's the first day seats were available for rebooking.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Happy birthday to -t, one of the strongest and most sneakily, quietly snarkolicious and awesome people I know!

Emily, I have no advice, just gladness that the whole stressfest didn't result in anything worse than a busted car.

In case you know anyone who thinks the world will end in 2012, here is a good refutation of the "evidence" for this:

Dang. I knew it was a flaming pile of poo, but I didn't know it was piled that high. Though I'm in love with the idea of a rogue planet sneaking up on us from behind and popping a cap in our planetary ass all unexpected-like (except for the worldwide apocalypse part, which, fortunately, flaming pile of poo).

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, I like the "Mayan" evidence for 2012 that's actually Aztec stuff.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy birthday -t!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So there's this show on HGTV of people doing expensive redecorations of various rooms, which I always think of as the show about people with more money than taste. Today's episode is in Las Vegas! This is going to be epic tacky.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Dude! I am sorry people are having days of suckitude. I think I stole all your awesome. I dropped the SO off for his breakfast with the pastor. Went to my favorite coffee shop where I had a boca mocha with hot buttered croissant. Worked on my deposit, which was almost 5 grand! Almost all of which was designated giving, so it`s not as though I can gallivant off with it, but still. We`re a small company; that`s a good deposit for us. Ran a few small errands. Driving home was breathtakingly beautiful, with the snow covered mountains. I love where I live so much. Now I`m home until rehearsal tonight, getting ready to bake bread, then work on the newsletter.

Oh! And I did my very first canning yesterday--green pepper jelly of all things! 4 out of 5 turned out, so I`m calling it a successful first venture. Next up, grapefruit.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got the prescription I hoped for, even though I'll have to py out-of-pocket, plus injectable triptans. Downside is he ordered a blood test. This usually takes a while. I won't be getting into the office today one way or another.

Major relief finally seeing him. He has some new plans, plus he had a pain guy sit in. Downside is trigger point examinations involve poking trigger points. And I need another one or two cervical spine procedures. But they may help the headaches.
