See, in my fantasy, when I'm kissing you... you're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Does anyone have a (low fat) broccoli preparation they like? I have a big bag of florets and am not finding as much options as I would with spinach or other green veggies. I've liked it with currants/pignoli and mashed into pasta, but looking for something different but still with a soft texture.

Tossed with a tsp of olive oil and roasted in the oven. Not attaractive, exactly, but tasty. Or sauteed with olive oil and garlic and crushed red pepper.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I found out there's a place in LA where this is a combo meal: "port & stilton burger, sweet potato fries, carmenere red wine." So, screw the low fat broccoli. We going there tonight!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee. That sounds better than broccoli and I like broccoli!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't think so.

Mmmm, bon!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Unless you 1) work where you are exposed to a lot of people 2) have some sort of immunity problem , 3) live with someone that really should n't get sick , I would say no .

I should get it for reasons 1 and 3 , but haven't.

I finally took down my xmas tree. What?! It always makes me smile.

Anyway, who ever thought painting the trim in the house dusty army green was a good idea? (Basement door sticks, has rubbed off layers of paint) Oh, probably the same person who painted the bathroom a bilious turquoise at some point in the past few coats of paint (with seafoam and lilac tile. Seriously. )

It's bizarre.

My Christmas lights are on in my windows right now. They hadn't been since New Years, but the current snowpacalypse made want to turn them on.

People are crazy. My first NYC apartment, the smallest studio ever, had each wall a different color. The fact that they didn't paint over it before I moved in should have told me something (what it should have told me, actually, was that the owner was out of the country and wouldn't have actually approved me moving in. Oops.).
