well he is still sleeping, so I have had a blessed 40 min so far alone getting awake. He slept in my bed last night which is SOP after a big break like last night. I am sore across my back and one arm, no doubt from re-straining him and moving him home.
I haven't worked a good routine for me yet for the day after, but he will go to his uncle's for a few hours and I am going to try some meditation and yoga in that time.
We have the psychiatrist tomorrow, so that is very good. I'll be calling her and the therapist today also - I should do that before the meditation/yoga since it will re-agitate me.
My cats had a scrap a while ago and Oz leaped on Clio's back. Now Clio's tail is drooping. Sigh. She's fine now, but Dr. Google says it may be broken or dislocated. She's in no pain, but she I think she doesn't have any sensation in the end of her tail. (It is still twitching.) Right now I am watch and observe mode, but if she stays like this, I think I may hold off call the vet until tomorrow.
msbelle, I'm hoping for smoother days ahead.
it's going to be ups and downs like this for years and maybe ever. Teaching him skills to control himself is slow going, medicine can only do so much until he learns to feel when the out-of-control times are starting.
Boy, today is really not going to be the Patriots' best day ever.
Seriously. 24 - 0 in the first? Damn.
Ha, I just tuned in to see how that was going.
I missed the beginning to finally watch Doctor Who. The Doctor waged a more impressive battle.
Well, damn it. I can't figure out how to open the fixture to replace the bulb and it's too cold out there for me to futz around with it for long. It looks like they somehow installed a new socket that's too big for the fixture to open normally. No idea how they got the current bulb IN.
Oh well, going to the hardware store so at least I'll have a working light in the closet.
I have been waiting around to see if Clio has any troubles using the litter box (one of the problems with tail trauma)but she's had no interest in it. So much for my Sunday afternoon grocery shopping and matinee. Instead, having the laziest Sunday ever.
Tail can pop up if she needs it, but wags really strangely when she walks. Wish these stupid cats could talk and tell me what's really wrong.
Our lab Toby fell backwards once on steep, slippery tile and dislocated his tail. We had him swim in the pool to reduce swelling but it mostly got better on its own.
