Hec, I've got a book that I used when I was writing my mystery novel...it's a field manual with photos for homicide detectives...it didn't bother me as much as I expected, but all the photos are B&w.
I've seen some gruesome crime scene shots in books, but this was weirder because...I don't know. It's a little more banal and I know the cops are working on this case right now. Also I wasn't prepared when I opened those files.
For example, the crime scene photos are just a series of shots marked out by the CSI detectives. So it's (1) front door; (2) floor littered with stuff; (3) dead body lying face down with visible bullet wound and blood; (4) refrigerator.
I had a hard time figuring it out. Like, are they trying to say stuff is not as bad, or is it serious? And then the comments baffle me even more. One was like, "I like this. Hindsight is 20/20." WHAT DO YOU MEAN?
Cripes. People actually think things would be better with Bush? Last I looked even righties were distancing themselves saying he wasn't conservative enough. I can't follow their twisty logic.
All I know is if I was driving on that highway, that would scare the shit out of me.
I don't know any woman that doesn't worship Elizabeth Bennett.
STANDING. RIGHT. HERE.
(Dude, I had to Google to remember which Austin book she was in.)
I have never read any Austen.
All I know is if I was driving on that highway, that would scare the shit out of me.
That stretch of highway has had some of the more grotesque anti-abortion billboards on it - I am unsurprised at that billboard.
I quite like Lizzie, but I like the aunt who takes her on the trip in P&P even more. I forget her name, but she's fantastic.
I am not even sure you are allowed to be logged in here. next thing someone will say they didn't watch Buffy.
Who's Elizabeth Bennett? Wait, I read Pride and Prejudice. On a plane once. I enjoyed it, but not enough to pursue more.
Rather like hummus.
I like Lizzie Bennett but I want to slap the shit out of Emma Woodhouse.
