I have nothing to say about yellow beer or about Lady Gaga. But I'd like to acknowledge, in looking through pictures, Tom Scola has The Best Smile ever.
Also the first half of Academic Decathlon competition this weekend and I'm beginning to feel the stomach flutter of anxiety.
Also also, the LA Times did a nice blog post on my school's b-ball team which is coached by one of the teachers I am providing mentoring for. I love that we have a team with only 6 (short!) kids on it but still kicking butt.
Okay, I'm not in love with the Minnie Driver character, but at least she was played by a cool actress. So it's okay.
What's cool about Minnie Driver? Besides the fact that she showed up on my Pandora stream and her song was not bad.
I like her low profile, never seen a bad interview with her, and she has an interesting choice of roles. She seems strong.
Someone told my boss that the university is no longer allowed to provide food for meetings that involve staff, because the food is a taxable benefit for the employee and would have to be noted in our paycheck. Does this sound crazy to anyone else? (I also just came from a meeting that had food)
She was great in The Riches.
I remember rebuses, but I can't remember the beer that went with them. Hm. I do know that if you put a lime in a Meisterbrau it tastes an awful lot like Corona.
Does this sound crazy to anyone else?
Yes. Possibly technically correct in some sense, but definitely crazy.
I like her low profile
She DOES have a pretty low profile, you're right. I haven't seen her in much.
Huh, she was in
GoldenEye
?
Shari, how are your kids possibly old enough for a FAFSA? No help, though, since I haven't seen one since the 90s.
She DOES have a pretty low profile, you're right. I haven't seen her in much.
Well, she has a long resume. She just doesn't parade her life around much.
In
GoldenEye
she played a really crappy Russian lounge singer. It was quite funny.
