Now tagless for your comfort.

Inconvenient is probably closer to true than my reaction, which is near-panic. It's like being snowed in with only one book.

Fortunately, it was a short-lived outtage. But the Blackberry is a nice backup.

Good luck, msbelle.

Now I'm thinking about going to NYC for the crossword tournament, and have the eternal debate: plane vs. bus. $200/1 hour vs. $40/5 hours.

Don't forget to factor in the extra time you spend in an airport versus a bus station. And transportation to the airport vs. the bus station, especially on the NY side.

Note: When I used to take the express bus to/from Framingham, it was generally 3h45 (from Boston, 4h15). It was almost never worth it to fly.

I swear, Alton Brown looks more and more like my geriatric cousin every day. Put him in a pastel dress and orthopedic shoes and they could be twins.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Now I'm never going to be able to see him without a pastel dress and ortho shoes, Matt.

sara, but Devi was 'splorin'! There could be prey-things in there! It's uncharted territory, and thus, irresistible.

It's uncharted territory, and thus, irresistible.

Which is why I've always meant to block it off. Someday. Knew they'd get there eventually.

hip deep in pie

My cats have the same attraction to the crawl space in my bedroom sara. No matter where they are or what they are doing, if they hear me open the door, they are up in the room in a flash.

And when I opened up the hole in the kneewall in the opposite side for the insualtors to look at, Pico got in and got completely coveredin 50 years of dust and dirt. He was so happy...until I bathed him.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, but since I'm going to Brooklyn, the ground transportation is evened out. And I've been burned taking buses before, so I get there early anyway. And I REALLY REALLY HATE the bus.
