That sounds excellent, Allyson. Well, not the Scholastic part.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm sorry about Sam, Allyson, but YAY for smartcuteBoy!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Last night I had the tuna sandwich at Subway for the first time. I had always wondered how their tuna was, given that they used an ice cream scoop to plop it on the bread. To my surprise, it was actually pretty good! Nothing special, but not terrible and fishy like I was expecting.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

African National Congress Launches Leather Jacket Line

South Africa's African National Congress has launched a line of leather jackets to encourage a sense of "identity," BBC News reports. Made from black, green and gold fabrics and adorned with patches, glowing buttons and zippers, they've been met with mixed reviews from the country's fashion community.

Designer Thula Sindi told the BBC, "I wouldn't be caught dead in them, it all just looks like patchwork," and fashion writer Bongiwe Khumalo said, "They failed to use colour wisely...this makes the jackets look like they are made from cheap fabric." Financial Times reporter Thebe Mabanga liked the presidential version, but called one of the other models "something from Star Trek."

The jackets are made in Durban and the least-expensive one costs 1,620 rand or $217.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

He was very tall, and seems to think I am pretty or something.

Smart boy.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Well, there are still 16 or so publishers considering it, so all is not lost, yet.

Biology Boy continues to be sweet. I found a Canadian quarter on my dresser the other day.

Do you think it was a tip?

Because books.

I like the news about Biology Boy, Allyson. Less so about the Sam news, but it's still out there!

Does anyone need a girl's 3T jacket and snowpants? Very cute, gently used. I'm thinking Olivia is probably covered for the winter, unless Cash wants it, and Matilda probably doesn't need anything that heavy. Any others? I have a 4T Columbia jacket to send Liv for next year, though.

Tilda Swinton Would 'Absolutely' Play Conan (PHOTOS)

When Conan O'Brien taped his last show on Friday, he only had two requests: 1) For his audience to work hard and be kind and 2) For HBO to cast Tilda Swinton to play him in the made-for-TV movie about the late-night fiasco.

He flashed this image to prove that they look alike:

Well, now Tilda has responded. When speaking to Movieline about her film at Sundance, she said, "I would just be only too happy [to play him.] Yes, yes, yes, absolutely." The two do share several characteristics: Pale skin, red hair, lithe bodies, attractiveness. "Every girl should have a doppleganger," she said. We agree.
