That's beautiful. Or taken literally, incredibly gross.

Rudolf Nureyev

Mikhail Baryshnikov, I think.

Tom Waits is in there too. Christy Turlington. The guy with his tongue sticking out is probably John Lydon.

And yes to Bono, Sinead, and RDJ.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I love Verizon's network - I might trade in my BB Curve in May, though I'm not in love with the Droid yet. I remember many "network issues" with AT&T in the middle of SoMa (where most of the putative SF iPhone users tend to congregate). T-Mobile... people have problems getting a signal in SF, to the point where they have to go to the top of the nearest hill.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

AT&T works well for me at home, at work, and at my sister's place. Actually, my sister's cell carrier works badly at her home, so I get better reception there than they do. They haven't given up their land line yet, so it's not much of an issue for them, especially now that the kids are mostly out of the house.

Swouncing

Skipping lots because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Frisco's birthday.

Happy birthday, big boy! With lots of wishes to Stephanie, Ellie, and all your family!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I drop calls constantly on T-Mobile, and when dialing in to conference calls, which I do all the time, it often doesn't pick up all the numbers when I punch them in. Don't know what that's about. I'm just waiting out my contract so I can switch, probably to Verizon. I do still like my BB though, so I'm not sure if I'll switch that out or what.

Spent the last couple hours gauging how ill I felt. Then looked at pile of kleenex I had gone through. Called in sick. There's work I really need to do, but it's just going to have to wait. Now to reschedule dentist appt.

sarameg - Jan 26, 2010 3:24:32 am PST #4152 of 30001

Ahg. Next dentist appt: March. Originally? 1/7. Sigh. Hope the temp crown holds up.

Happy Birthday, Frisco! Tell your mother to post a picture! Or two!

sarameg, feel better.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mikhail Baryshnikov, I think.

Whoops. Switched out ballet-men, there.

That is one early picture of Christy Turlington. I was just looking at a 2008 Vanity Fair spread of the 80s supermodels. They've aged, definitely out of their chosen job, but still look good.

God, I barely slept last night. I was definitely up for the dishwasher portion of the night. And my alarm doesn't go off for another half hour. But I can't toss and turn anymore.

Ugh, sarameg. I feel like ass myself, and I just ran out of the good painkillers. It's ridiculous how little insurance covers. And it's not like I can take them at work.

Happy birthday, Frisco! Keep your hands out of your sister's toilet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Feel better, people!

Happy birthday, Frisco!

Happy Australia Day! (Possibly belated now, in Actual Australia....)
