Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, guys. At first the delay was about it being hectic, and then they were having difficulty getting a vein, and then shift change. I did wonder if they abandoned me because they knew I was a hard stick and no one wanted to get involved...after I insisted on IV over IM there was a long gap. But by the time I was done, the nurse was all "lovie" and "my friend" with me.

The (presumably former) apartment manager's apartment is empty. No notice, or anything. I wonder what we're supposed to do for short term maintenance requests.

Spice will delay mold for a while, I think, but there's only so much it can do.

Doe anyone else find that cooking really dims your appetite? I have made today a roast chicken with a baked rice side dish and broccoli, and a potato leek soup. And I have not eaten dinner.

Yup. When I make vast quantities of stuff to put up, very often eat a few bites (omg, so good!) and then have a piece of fruit for dinner or something ridiculous.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Yup. The various bits of tasting along the way, plus the smell, seem to fill me up.
