Because books.

Jeans! Kat, I'm putting some in the mail to you tomorrow.

I'm sorry about the ER, ita. Also, what Laura said.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That whole "why did he stutter?" thing they had at the start, it just seemed set up to put a halo on his head. Never bought it, never dug it.

That was exactly my issue.

I hope you are home from the ER, or at least getting treated by now.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

ita, sucktastic. I, too, hope you've been treated by now. It was great to meet you last night (and Burrell! And Kat!) and I don't think I told you but your hair looked lovely and was quite flattering.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

ita, I'm sorry to hear you are at the ER this morning. I hope you get seen quickly and get some relief.

Our wings are not tired.

I don't think I told you but your hair looked lovely and was quite flattering.

It really was. I always liked the blond and thought it was attractive, but the super close crop was very flattering. Damn few people can pull that style off, but ita totally does rock it.

I almost swam. Got in to just below my breasts, but couldn't take the plunge. It did leg kicks for 15 minutes in the spa instead. That counts, right?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Laura, it was like 42 degrees this morning. I'm super impressed you even got in the pool!

smonster, I'm sorry we didn't get to talk more either...my conversation skills have gone to shit. (Quite literally as I can have a rousing conversation about pooh or pee)

Maybe I'll go and see Grace while K has Noah out. Or maybe I'll just sit on the couch and fold clothes and watch GA.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

[TMI] woke me up at what was to me the middle of the night, but would have been a good wake-up time for many of you people. I went back to sleep for many more hours.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I don't know what you're talking about Kat - you and Burrell and I had a great talk about, um, our kids...

Heh. Yeah.

ita, so sorry about the ER again. It was great seeing you last night even if we didn't really get a chance to talk.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They got me in relatively quickly. The big wait was for reassessment.

Today is one of those random days they determine I'm worth breakfast. So one of those where I determine I'm in still queased. Zofran, take me away.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
