Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We have been outside working like mad on the yard all day to get it presentable for when the TV Lady comes over to tape it (and us) tomorrow. Send lots of vibes at noon that we will be considered TV-friendly!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I had a tempeh, mushroom, and bok choy stir fry for dinner. This was definitely a good plan. Except that now I've got a ton of dishes to wash, and my dishwasher is still broken.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm waiting to go to a celebration of pie. Shepard's pie was mentioned, as well as various dessert pies. A dinner built around pie—genius.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I can't imagine anybody more tv-friendly, Scrappy. Vibes on the way, though.

Yay for getting out, Liese!

It was a gorgeous day. However, I did not go out. I used the beautiful daylight in the bedroom to sort and reorg the closet. Better with daylight. When it's cloudy, that room is very dark, and there's no overhead fixture. Makes a difference. I will do more closet stuff and the two dressers and work out out-of-season storage during the football games tomorrow. Nice to get some focus going, finally.

Perkins, those photos are stunning. It makes me miss that part of the country--and especially surf and sand! I love our mountains on one hand and bay on the other, but what we have are tidal flats, which are actually boring, and they smell in warm weather. I miss surf. But I can content myself with local spectacular views, and make plans to *visit* surf.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Anti-Twilight/pro-scary vampire tees

Deviant Art's FernandoLucas has knocked together a set of anti-Twilight t-shirts calling for a return to vampire fundamentals: biting, rending, tearing, and terrorizing, not snogging and crying.

Yay for K-Bug having, Suzi! And I'd love to have seen CJ's face when she walked in.

Sounds like you earned your nap, Cash.

I remember Sharky! Why isn't it available for purchase yet?

I know! I'd totally buy Sharky.

I think it's okay to be a kissing vampire as long as you're also a biting vampire.

Well, basically.
