I guess at 5 months into this, having only missed due to vacation (and don't think I didn't wish I'd brought my ID to B'ham, because there is a Y just down the road from my brother and they have reciprocity!) or closure, I think this habit is gonna stick.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I had butt-length hair until college and then I chopped it off to shoulder length, and eventually to a supershort pixie. It's currently the longest it's been since then, about 3-4 inches down my back. I'll allow that the shorter cuts frame my face better, but I missed having hair.
The worst haircut I ever got was when our neighbor offered to cut my hair for free and gave me bangs I did not ask for and did not want. They looked AWFUL.
So I can't stop watching Private Practice, but last night's episode provided this gem of dialogue.
One character walks into another's office and says, "You can't walk." His reply: "You're black. What game are we playing?"
OK, maybe you have to have more context on the characters, but I don't think so.
Sorry, shrift, I think that was me.
I too got groceries yesterday, so I forced myself to get out of bed and make an enormous salad.
Hee. I liked that line too Jesse! I had stopped watching the show but started again this season...but haven't committed to putting a season pass on it on the TiVo.
Dinner with the ex was fun mostly, but I think she called because she misunderstood a fb status update from the other night. Doh! No, sweetie, that was not about you.
Aaaand since LiveJournal apparently is going to be down for the next 3 hours, I guess I'll do some yoga this evening after all.
Nora, Tom, Jesse: Steve has been to The Other Side Cafe twice in the last week and loves it. And Jesse, he went there tonight with the nephew we were telling you about...and Steve was like "I thought about emailing Jesse to see if she wanted to meet us."
Ha! I still have not been there....
See now? You've got all kinds of social possibilities!
Oh, hmph, re: apostrope. Oh well. Guess I just need to relax and be harrowed by the smart quotes.
My weekend plans are: nothing. About sixteen inches of snow today, more expected. Canceled lessons. Our band leader won`t make it back for Saturday church. Sunday church is canceled. (They, like us, are on a dirt road.)
I have serious cabin fever. I haven`t left the house since Sunday. This Sunday I want to venture out even if there`s no church. I need to see how things are before we try Monday`s two hour commute. Today the interstate to get there was closed. Also, I have run out of soy milk.
So yeah, really no plans for the weekend.
