It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh, it's worse than that. I saw a blog post today that said NYT may have monkeyed with her photo to make her look bigger.

I was just going to link to that! I'm not saying I liked the dress either, but good lord NYT, was the newsday really THAT slow?

My objections were more to the color than the shape, actually. I don't think there's anything wrong with emphasizing an hourglass figure - just don't do it in a color that makes you look like you just gave blood.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I actually liked CH's dress other than it not fitting up top. The color was not great, but the cut would have been really nice if it hadn't been squishing her.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Titscrepancy!

We do have to make sure this makes it into the vernacular.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm pretty sure it was coined, or at least popularized, by the Project Rungay guys.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

She mentioned scaring Liv by showing her E's hair tomorrow

This is the point where I would start coaching Liv to say "But it's SO MUCH PRETTIER now!" if Crazy!Mom should attempt this.

10 former child stars you'd sleep with today (they are all of age now, though I'd still feel squicky over a few.)

I don't think I'd sleep with any of them, but Lacy Chabert and Anna Paquin did grow up hot.

Now tagless for your comfort.

That does sound like the kind of thing where I can see where the mom might still be flipping out, but she should stop talking about it to you.

Yeah, I could see her kvetching about it to someone--everyone if she likes but making me feel more badly about it--can't happen.

W. T. F?! Yeah, what's the point of scaring Liv? What good will that do?

EXACTLY! I honestly think that she needs to see Liv cry or something.

Okay, the line into unreasonably crazy has officially been crossed with this woman.

Yeah. DH wants me to cut them loose. Which is harder to do in a small town but I have no problem discreetly distancing ourselves.

I could see her continuing to be upset if I was blase about it. But I'm not. I'm upset. Olivia is remorseful and I'm making reparations. If I just blew her off, I could see her continuing to bombard me with the crazy.

4 status-checking calls to the pharmacy, 2 emails to the doctor's assistant, and 1 day later, apparently my prescription is filled. Here's hoping I can put a dent in this pain tonight.

I hope you can, ita.

DAMN, the About a Boy boy grew up to be gorgeous. Wow.

Aw man. The other night in the locker room, one woman I see all the time was talking about a friend of hers from MICA who ran an arts center outside of PauP, how she had been planning on going out this fall with supplies. She was fairly certain he was safe. She called him Flore. I'm pretty certain he's not: [link]
