"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Seems I won't be watching NBC this fall. Not a single thing on their line-up appeals to me.

I was meh, until I clicked on the Undercovers thing. It stars Boris Kodjoe, very hot actor from Soul Food, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who played Martha's sister in Doctor Who.

Always Anti-fascist!

I would support a show with two black leads anyway, but these two are so pretty.

I wonder if she'll be british on the show.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wonder if she'll be british on the show.

Apparently not.

Happy Anniversary DJ and Jon.

Today is a day off for me. I spent the morning lying in bed, reading and napping. Then I went out for lunch, did a few errands and am back home to lots of dirty dishes and a messy house. Still glad I had the lazy morning. I don't know then last time I just layabout like that...even on my lazier weekends I usually get up pretty early.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Why is it the second I strip the bed, the cats decide they must be there OMG NOW and lay down?

And then, the second it is remade and nice and smooth, they both get up there before I do? MY BED, BITCHES!! BACK OFF.

Le sigh. And I am going to spread out and grade papers on it and I know they will both lay ON the TBG pile. I hope none of my students have an allergy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy anniversary, Daisy!

That sounds promising, msbelle. Good luck with the boss...

Did you tell him that you're a librarian, not a comedy writer.

Why did I just hear that in my head as if said by McCoy on Star Trek?

I couldn't say why, but I do know you're not the only one!

I'm not sure how long I can keep looking busy without doing actual work. It's a little weird. And I don't get network access until later in the week!

Most of the writers on SNL aren't comedy writers, either!

I find myself cackling at Rob Lowe's departure from Brothers & Sisters in search of more screentime and central story focus.

Erin, my cats like to especially lay down when I am half done amking the bed. Then, as I try to make the bed around them, they think putting sheets on is happy-fun-play-time-let's-attack! Nutbars.
