Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What do you think? Bitchiest comeback ever?

Hey Tommyrot, I know you've been missing Fabulon as much as I have. But look! All the writers have their own little blogs.

(That particular entry almost made me spit take my coffee.)

I am sick of the HPV commercials too--and they seem super bitchy to anyone who already HAS HPV. I mean, way to rub in that she might get cancer and it's too late to do anything about it? And since so many people have it...

Now tagless for your comfort.

Hec, that's pretty bitchy. And funny.

offer~ma for msbelle's place!

Roger Ebert left his Macbook Pro in a cab in Cannes. It's the one with his voice program on it. There's a reward for its return but it remains unfound. I hope he gets it back.

My motivation is AWOL today.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Are the HPV commercials the "I want to be One Less" ones? That slogan is dreadful.

edit because not HOV

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Mac and I had another explosion. Whatever. I've pushed him beyond what he can cope with this weekend, he needs to zone out for a while and I took all those things away. So I gave one back and I gave myself time alone scrubbing the shower with a toothbrush and having hot water drown everything away. I am going to read to him now, take some meds and go to bed. I do like my new OPI polish though, greenish bluey toes.

Uhg, msbelle.

My neighbor gave me some strawberry rhubarb crisp he just made, with stuff from the farmers market. It is SO DAMNED GOOD. My dinner is a spinach empanada, strawberries and this. NOM.

Ooooh, I love rhubarb.

I walked up to the farmer's market today but didn't end up buying anything except a piece of cheese strudel (which sadly wasn't as good as I remembered). The market only opened last week. Lots of people selling plants and flowers, tried ot remind myself I have a black thumb and didn't want to drag the flowers all the way home (it's a bit of a walk). Then to the library. On the way I walked past one of the new buildings that has an awesome art store and looks like the other new tenant is going to be PANERA! Mmm, Panera. I am torn, because boo, chain and corporate and blah blah blah. But...yum.

I'm hating the "What if..." version on Hulu.
