Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm scared of the twitter. I don't need to get involved in any more things to do online!

I like twitter much more than Facebook, but given the sometimes miraculous works done on FB (namely finding a favored dog a new home), I won't give it up entirely. I rarely ever post anything personal there...or on twitter, for that matter.

As for celeb tweeters, I especially like Neil Gaiman and Stephen Fry but have unfollowed some celebs I thought would be great. (Sorry Nathan, love ya)

My favorite faux celeb is SergeGraystone from Caprica.

ION, I'm all full of devilled eggs. Blergh. Also, why do I always eat at inappropriate times on the weekend? I'm going to be starving mid-afternoon, but need to be ready to eat an early-ish dinner!

In other other news, I feel like my one geeky coworker must be fannish, so I'm trying to throw stuff out there and see what she picks up. So far, not Leverage. (The word comes up a lot at work...)

Change of plans, but for a good reason. Someone wants to see the place at 4, so I am taking an hour to be in the city, then heading back to clean.

“Not dead yet!”

That's such a gorgeous building, Barb. Seriously one of the prettiest buildings in downtown LA.

Oh, it definitely is, Cass-- I've stayed at hotels near there and thought it would be nice to attend a function there someday.

One of my other favorites that I've stayed at is the Beverly Hilton-- it's got such a 60s kitsch vibe to it. Next goal is to stay at The Beverly Hills Hotel. Just to hang at the Pink Palace.

Oh, bonny - I just found the article. Phooey on that writer who went looking for trouble.

My daughter just proved once again that she can eat her weight in mac-n-cheese, and that no matter how fine I chop the spinach, she can pick it off the noodles.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I am at Coney Island with the fam. It it gorgeous. I love being able to wake up in the morning and think "I'd like to go to the beach" and just GO.

Ftr, sephora still does have itty bitty bottles of polish. I know have red red and deep sparkle pink, plus Mermaid to Order OPI.

Right? That seems exactly the point. Pot needed stirring, I guess.
