Tomorrow is our karate tournament. CJ is competing in sparring, forms, weapons and as part of our demo team. I'm just doing sparring and forms. We will be there from 8am to about 5pm. Oh, and there is a 2 hour seminar with 2 of the Masters. Last year we learned some fancy knife and extremity (arms/legs) techniques. Who knows what we will get this year.

Sunday, the boy and I are going to the farmer's market, book store, and then the new Japanese place.

Beyond that - lots of sleep. My stooopid thyroid is messed up again and my iron levels are lower than my usual low.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I was trying to continue my channeling of msbelle and have now realized that the reason I might not have used that Indian simmer sauce in ages is that it's not om nom nom. It'll do for dinner but I suspect that the leftovers will not be saved. I did use up the last of a box of couscous though. Still, I think it's an overall fail.

DJ, you and Jon rock.

I ate dinner, gave myself a pass on getting anything productive done this evening after working until 7 and then going to the gym, and watched Robert Downey Jr.'s appearance on Craig Ferguson. Robert Downey Jr. makes everything better.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Yes. Yes he does.

Because books.

Robert Downey Jr.'s appearance on Craig Ferguson

I loved that a third of their conversation was bleeped. And the Awkward Pause was epic.

“Not dead yet!”

Can we have an RDJ for Buffista Island? Maybe three or four of them?

DJ, he's adorable.

RDJ is of the good. I think I should be asleep as I was up at 3:00 AM, but I'm still so angry and I think that perhaps the equipment won't show after all because the Case Manager screwed up in telling us it would be ready because she didn't get an authorization from the insurance for the equipment. HATE.

So, essentially my monday off is a wasted day because Grace most likely won't be coming home after all. Ragey ragey ragey ragey stab stab stab.

“Not dead yet!”

You could send RDJ in badass Tony Stark meets crazyass Sherlock Holmes mode to go medieval on the case manager.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ah, fuck man, Kat. I hope it somehow works out and the day out isn't wasted. A day out should never be wasted.

If we're ordering in RDJs, can I have a JDM on the side, neat? Ta, ever so.
