I'm going to see to Wesley, see if he's still whimpering.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Great name and I love that you rescued a dog on your anniversary trip. Daisy Jane, you and your DH are good people.

I flipped out like a mammal on Grace's case worker. DME will appear this weekend. I'll believe it when I see it.

hip deep in pie

Daisy, that is crazy.

I am back from dinner and drinks with some old coworkers. Unfortunately two beer is turning into a killer headache.

“Not dead yet!”

Sudafed 12-hour loopiness has kick into full gear. I feel utterly stupid and glazed, but at least no longer like I'm going to throw up.

Wonder what'll happen if I try to write?

Kat, I'm amazed you didn't go medieval on that case worker's ass.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Geez, DJ. Lucky indeed to be found by y'all.

I am working a few hours tomorrow and then volunteering with my dad on Sunday.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, Daisy you and Mr. Daisy rock!

This weekend is all about taming the yard before the grass and weeds totally engulf the house. Which starts with fixing the weedeater, whose brokenness precipitated the jungle-tude. I hope that all goes smoothly, because the front yard is just embarrassing and the backyard is unusable.

Sunday is bbq in the afternoon and maybe seeing my mom tap-dance in the evening, if the timing works out. Probably laundry in the morning because that is nearly as urgently needed to be done as the yard work, but not quite.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

If we hadn't that's all I would have thought about all weekend (and probably longer). Oz is working out his frustrations over the whole thing on a giant bone.

Procedure ma for you and Gracie, Kat. I can't even imagine the frustration.

It's more Mr. Jane rocking. I mostly cried in the car and hoped neither of them got hit.

You both rock, with your go-with-the-flowedness and good hearts.

You know what? Imma take it and just say thanks. We started out on our 3 or so hour drive at 3 this afternoon. At this point, we are 80 some odd miles away and tired, but I have some warm fuzzies.

Tomorrow is vet to check for a chip and a collar and leash. Tonight is doing our nails at the hotel freshening up and a few cocktails and then bed.
