Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If I decide I want to get in touch with someone from my past, I'd rather do it myself.

Some very random people have found me, people that I have no idea could even track me down. That curiosity still exists, although it's mostly academic, since I'm inactive.

they're not my photos; I can't remove the tag.

Yes, you can. Unless stuff has changed since I took my name off some party photos.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

This is why I am so glad I was late adopter of Facebook, and just treated it as if everything I put on there would be public.

But they're not my photos; I can't remove the tag.

I thought that you could always untag yourself in a photo, no matter who posted the photo.

Because books.

Can I ask the high school teachers, if one of your students got caught ditching the whole day, first offense, what would the punishment be?

I feel like I should know this from Jake, but he spent so much time in in-school suspension, the question became academic.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Eh. It's not worth it; the only reason I hate the photos is that I'm fat, and I can't blame the photos for that.

What's really bugging me is the relatively inconsequential fact that I can't edit my profile. I can hide stuff that already there, but that's all I see how to do. Dammit, this shit should not be difficult.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I keep in contact with brother in Holland, cousin in Honduras, nephew and niece in Maryland, Mom in Virgina and old friends who are all over the place. The thing I like about Facebook as opposed to other fora is that it is ongoing. So I use it not to keep in touch through heartfelt one-on-one messages which are better for email or phone convo's, but through ongoing snarky comments, which is just how we kept in touch back when we were sitting in the lunchroom. My cousin John can post a picture from his son's graduation and my bro overseas can comment on it, and another cuz can chime in and me from Cali and pretty soon an international tease-fest is going on.

Yes, I like Facebook for the opportunity to be goofy.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am so sorry Theresa!

I like facebook because I have connected with old friends who I never would have thought to look for or connect with-- actually I talk a lot to 2 women that were a few years younger than I in high school (Freshman when I was a senior) and who were Stage Managers for me their senior year, when I took over the High School Drama Club. We weren't super close, so I never would have thought of keeping touch, but we have great conversations now. There are also people I was super-close with that are my FB friends and we never talk or write on walls or anything.

Exactly why I love Twitter! Though it's harder to have a conversation with multiple people.

I like and fan even the most ridiculous stuff. I dare them to try and make anything out of my data that I don't tell people myself.
