I passed my Level 2 test--thought I got 8 out of the 10 errors allowed, which troubles me--so yay!
Now I have to suck up my essential laziness and avoidance-of-things-that-test-me and pay attention to my work. Boo.

Another thing I find sort of interesting is that the British provided the blueprint for Pearl Harbor when they disabled the Italian fleet with 21 biplanes with a surprise attack in a harbor that was also supposedly too shallow for torpedoes.
Yeah. The Japanese learned a lesson from this, but the US did not. Also, many years before the war the US Navy had war games involving aircraft carriers attacking Pearl Harbor. These exercises proved that it was possible to catch Pearl Harbor by surprise with a carrier attack.

I am drafting up some documents concerning a vendor. The company name is punctuated with an exclamation point, like, Company! I hate it, it looks so stupid in a contract-like document.
Both our Italian books have exclamation points in their titles. We hateses them.

I just read that almost 7,000 people have flown into FL from Haiti in the last week. wow, that's a lot and fast.
Oh, my boss's daughter's friend managed to get out of Haiti. She got a ride on a military C-130.
