Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Coding and Sleeping

Dag -- I was thinking I might win at lunch, because it's burrito day in the cafeteria.

If it weren't for the Scola factor, I'd say you have an easy win because, you know, burrito.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Why do some stupid people have to be so mean?

Right? Emmett and I are listening to Harry Potter audiobooks again and Umbridge gives me so many horrible flashbacks to bosses I've had.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I'm a grumpysaurus today.

I'm right there with you. We had a fundraiser at school last night and my kids performed (and killed it!), so I didn't leave here till 8:30. Then I got home and had to do homework and didn't get to bed till 1:30. 4 hours later, I wake up and hear all the rain and got queasy because my room floods like a crazy flooding thing. Got to school to Lake Drama Room and have been displaced all day.

Displaced, tired, cranky grumpysaurus. That's me.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I am having a terrible day, and I just want to get everything set up for my days off on Friday and Monday so I can go home and lay in bed and feel horrible.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sorry, grumpysauri!!

I will say, the burrito was just OK, which is just as well. I figure I'll just have to work my way through all the craziness available (I mean, god forbid I not get cheese, guac, and sour cream on the burrito) before I settle into a normal salad/sandwich routine.

“Not dead yet!”

Darn you, Perkins-- a) I love that dress you linked to, but I agree with the others who said that grays are hard to judge and b) I love this for myself: [link]

And also, this one: [link]

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

From the site Barb linked to - I just love this description: Crazy Little Thing Called Glove

information libertarian

I am at the SLC airport! Snowy mountains and Mormons abound. On the flight here I watched Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Boy are they silly and melodramatic. But now I know who the people in the tabloids are. Which one(s) had a baby?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So far today has not improved.

I'm now sifting through stuff that should have been resolved a while ago and is now on my lap instead of New Guy's, who didn't handle it. Not happy. Also hurting. Will be sleeping in car during lunch.
