Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Check out this old ad: Dad REALLY likes the razor, I mean, SQUEE

No man should be that happy getting an electric razor. Sorry, kids - your daddy is insane.

Hey, for a tech-savvy dad in 194what that had to be the iPad of its day.

Hey! I'm back in one of my vintage skinny dresses! It's actually one I hadn't worn yet. Apparently the pilates and yoga are paying off on getting rid of the back fat (which is where I was having difficulty zipping, upper back and ribs.

I put it on after pulling on the Liberty pink Target dress (which I bought too big and now need altered though after Perkins's zipper issue I'm askeered) and I didn't think the skinny dress would zip (it's hard to make the back fat and ribs get smaller). Lo and behold. It fits. With a cute cardigan and my vintage slingbacks.

I feel pretty happy today which is good because I'm looking down the barrel of a crap day.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I feel almost as crap today as I did yesterday, but I really really have to come into the office. Hence feeling like crap around other people. Today is going to be LONG. At least I've gotten one of my three meetings out of the way. If only I could engage my brain.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I'm not loving today so far.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Boulder psychic? What good is it to read the thoughts of rocks?

"Why would anyone want to kiss rocks? ...oh."

Coding and Sleeping

Good luck ita. I hope you start feeling better.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm not loving today so far.

Me neither. I took sleeping pills last night, so now I'm groggy. Coffee hasn't seemed to help.

I have a date tonight (with the woman that I didn't find in the bar last week). Hopefully my brain will have started working by then.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

(which I bought too big and now need altered though after Perkins's zipper issue I'm askeered)

I knew that particular zipper might be a little hinky when I bought the dress though, but bought it anyway.

I decided that the grey dress was a little too expensive for something I wasn't sure of, so I bought this one instead: [link]

It's probably too young for me, but I don't care.

Unrelatedly, my commute this morning was very long, and somewhat expletive filled.

Because books.

I'm not loving how I just finished a 10-day antibiotic and never really got rid of the gunk in my head or stopped coughing. Trees, enough with the sex now, please.
