"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What the hell, crazy storm!

We had a lightning strike nearby yesterday and the thunder made the windows rattle.

We hardly ever lose power, though, since we're on the same grid with the UCSF hospital complex.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'll see if I can get her back into Olivia's handed-down winter boots.

Next year's will be lavender!

Will someone tell me why I thought volunteering on a board of directors for a teeeny, tiny non-profit was a good idea.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I had something of a breakthrough this morning in therapy; it's the first time I've felt better after a session in a long time.

RIGHT ON!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cool beans, Tom!

if you become a regular she'll know you like it short and you can start talking about Eureka.

Colin does say he has a large following among black women, although this barber might be on the young side for his fanbase.

Folks in Eagle Rock lost power over the long weekend with the rainstorm. Where I was was untouched, luckily.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tommyrot's kind of cat rocks out.

Awww...

I can't tell - is that a Cornish Rex or a Devon Rex?

Okay, how fucking hard is it? A friend of mine -- intelligent, resourceful -- posted in LJ that he needs to find a low-cost place to get his cat spayed, because his current vet is quoting $250, and he's going through a divorce and can't afford that. Which I sympathize with.

He concludes his post with, "If I can't find something less expensive, there's going to be one more stray on the streets."

Okay, 1: seriously? You'd throw the cat out, to get knocked up repeatedly, rather than take it to the pound? And much more importantly, 2: YOU CAN'T FUCKING USE GOOGLE?!? It took me about 2 minutes to google the phrase "low-cost spay neuter cincinnati" and find 1 clinic that spays for $50 and another that spays for $35. TWO MINUTES.

You can't use Google your own damn self? (I said in my comment to his post, "If that doesn't work, I just googled 'low-cost spay neuter cincinnati'.")

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Steph, I would be way more passive-aggressive about it.

Because books.

That's awesome, Tom. (The Google thing *and* the therapy news!)

I can't believe he actually said "there will be one more stray on the streets," Tep. That's just ... really?
