"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

My brother played lacrosse when we lived in Maryland, and it didn't exist when we moved to Virginia. It's a shame, he was good enough to walk on to the Rutgers team, he probably could have gotten a scholarship if he'd played his senior year.

I just love seeing all the kids out there, you know? Especially when the 7ish crowd is practicing. They are such the adorable disaster. Just like soccer was when I was a kid.

And the coaches are freaking adorable.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oooh, the changing shoes at work person, Jesse! Just make sure you don't become the "wearing white sneakers with your black skirt and hose" person. Because that person is WRONG.

I too have several pairs of flat Sketchers for walking to work (along with boots for winter and some nice leather flip flops for summer). I remember the Seattle F2F was like a Sketchers floor show.

And Jesse, if you keep your shoes at work you don't have to schlep them back and forth. My entire file cabinet is shoes. Weekends if I'm going out I'll take a couple of pairs home, but mostly they live at work.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, yeah, I wore my Sketchers at the Seattle F2F, too! They're comfortable. And pretty!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I as so shocked you thought I would link to that. For shame!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Well isn't that... sparkly.

Yeah, it is more of a me kind of link. Usually, I keep them to email, but this one was too something not to share.
