Last night my dad starts telling me all the reasons he thinks my moving plan is flawed. My tickets are already purchased! So not helpful!
I helped my in-laws do a bit of moving this weekend. Seems like there's a lot of moving going on lately.

While creole cuisine is more rustic and provincial, cajun cuisine is more refined, in the tradition of classic French cuisine.
Creole was definitely the food of the city and Cajun of the bayous and backcountry.

I think of Cajun as "Start with a good base. Throw everything in the pot, spice it up and see what we have," and Creole as native with European influences. Like fusion places are the new Creole sort of thing.

I was pretty busy this weekend and didn't keep up with news. I'm very disappointed to find out that the containment device for the oil leak in the gulf looks like a fail. I was hoping it would work even though doing it 5,000 feet down was always iffy.
