getting coffee in my I heart Mom coffee mug that mac painted for me. For although the day is very hard for him and he threw a wrench in our plans, he did manage to give me a present on the actual day (tried to give it to me twice early to ruin the actual day, but unlike Christmas, refrained from opening the gift) and then not break it later (he weilded it and threatened to both break it and throw it away, but did neither). I am sure that coffee will taste better in it.
Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

This monday did not start well. Tripped over a cat into a mis-placed trashcan and did a rolling dive over the coffee table, taking out the phone and a chunk of ankle in the process. I'm still not sure how this happened. And this was after shower and tea.
I'm feeling it now, though honestly, not sure how I came through that as unscathed as I did.

Shoulders are a little sore, but I also slept funny, so it might mostly be that. Ankle seems to be feeling better, not worse. *I* was the one who moved the trashcan when cleaning and didn't put it back in its normal spot. And I'm always tripping over cats, so...
