Infinity Shoes [link] Not cheap, but have frequent sales. I like Miz Mooz.
Thanks! I will look at both of them too.
Religious people came to the door yesterday to read me scripture. Mona flipped the fuck out, as usual, and was barking like they were maniacs wielding knives instead of bibles. Obviously, I was annoyed.
I told the man, "No thank you, I'm a atheist."
He looked puzzled and said, "That's what your neighbor said...is it the whole building?"
I said, "I think the lady on the end who doesn't speak English is Catholic."
And then they left.
But I thought it was hilarious that he thought it was an Atheist's Only building.
Oz just let me know that the litterbox needed cleaning by peeing on the floor by back door. Well, he mostly peed on a reusable shopping bag. Grrr.
I am starting to wonder if something is wrong with him, because he's acting up all morning. Maybe he just really needed to pee.
No God for your building, Allyson!
I didn't pay enough attention, but the Nova ep suggested that there is a neurological connection with money and competition that makes such things happen.
True but there was a bit in the ep you missed where the second highest bid for the $20 bill had to pay their bid as well and they didn't get the money. So it was also an attempt to lose the least at the end.
Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing moms I know, whether your babies are babies or grown ups--and all the ages in between--and whether your babies are peoples or pets.
Those commercials are kind of redic, but otoh, I like juices with tons of pulp, and I very rarely feel the inclination to eat an actual piece of fruit. Aside from being a little over the top, is it that much different than V8?
(Obv nutritionally I know it is, but the messaging is pretty similar.)
V8 is mostly salt. Fruit juice is mostly sugar. (So nutritionally, yeah, they're about the same.)
Isn't the reason it's better to have a piece of fruit than a glass of juice that the whole fruit has fiber, whereas the juice is fiberless and therefore just sugar (like Jess said)?
I mean, I like a glass of oj, but I don't really count it as a serving of fruit. But I'm kind of obsessed with my fiber intake.
t edit
I like juices with tons of pulp
Do juices with pulp have a good amount of fiber? (I don't like pulpy juice, so I've never looked at the bottle.) Or does the feel of the pulp just make you think you're getting fiber?
(I have to note that I don't care if people drink juice or not; without oj, the world would be bereft of screwdrivers, and that cannot stand.)
