That's one spunky little girl you've raised. I'm gonna eat her.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

massive amounts of goodness vibing to Theo.

I had more to comment on, but now I can't remember, I need more coffee.

Today's the last day my boss is out, am sad.

I think mac is having a hard time with Mother's Day this year and both his therapist and I think he is about to confront some scars from his past that we are expecting to be big and painful. I am kinda collapsing under the expectation, I know I need to be ready and non-emotional and supportive whenever he breaks through this - that is leading to me crying a lot of the time I am away from him. ugh.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sophia, this is so exciting. I could not be happier for you.

Now, about the money... wasn't there talk the other day about university policy on raise caps at 10% or some such? I'd think, and I don't know, but I'd think that one reason to talk about the money might be to address that. You say, "can I have a raise?" and they say "no we just can't right now." If your career there is taking a major turn (and it could be) maybe at a later more major point when they HAVE to give you a raise you can look back on the earlier discussion (i.e. now) and get a bigger than the 10% at some future date.

Did that make sense?

Good luck, Theo!!

And good luck dealing with all that, msbelle. Being non-emotional when you need to be for him must be terribly difficult.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Happy Birthday, Glam!

Good luck, Theo!

Nora, if you're around, how are Taz and the move?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, that`s tough msbelle. Not only do you have to see your child hurting, but you have to go through your own stuff without seeming to, yourself.

In minor irritants news, the SO woke up this morning raring to go. Then he spent a half an hour clomping around looking for his wallet. So he could go to the studio to pick up his cables. At 6 in the morning! Final result 1: wallet on my bedside table from where I put it when we had sex yesterday. Final result 2: I am wide awake after five hours of sleep.

I realize this falls under the category of own damn fault since I stayed up last night, but sheesh.

Huh. Both my kid's names are more popular than mine. I'm kinda shocked Susan is still on the list. I don't think I've met a Susan under 20 years old in a long time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck dealing and helping E deal, msbelle.

In less important news on my end, I hate when people say they are going to email me something, and then don't! I was supposed to get an offer letter yesterday morning, and some freelance work last night. So far -- nothing from either.

Good Luck Theo.

Hoping for the best with mac, msbelle.

I met one yesterday in her 20's, I was shocked.

OOh I'm going to try it:

I don't know why the people who see Bob's condo (like the ones coming today) don't immediately make an offer on it, sign a contract that goes through, and buy the place. sheesh PEOPLE!
