My poor coworker just discovered a case of plagiarism while grading the papers from her class. A really blatant case of plagiarism - copied most of a paper that is the first hit when you google "title of the book" and "ambition". And the class is an optional, one-credit class - the whole point of this program is so freshpersons can have a small class and get to know a faculty member well! And, I guess, shit all over them.

Today has been a whirlwind. Started the day working from home. Then I took the car in to have the tires changed out and worked from there while they did the work. Came home, worked some more. After that, it was off to the dojo for a group class and a private class. Home for a quick shower and back to on the work computer. Wheeeeee. Now I just have to figure out what I'm going to do for dinner.

Californians will know about this - but I've never seen one before: weather bug just sent me a Fire Weather Alert - with a Red Flag Warning in my county until 9 pm tonight (central).

I got one of those recently! Weird.

My mom and brother live in the middle of the Pinelands area of southern NJ, and there's a Fire Alert sign just down the road from their subdivision that gets changed when the fire alert status changes.
