I get annoyed when I leave a voicemail for DH and he calls without listening to it first. Dude, if I call and just hang up when I get the vm, then whatev, but if I go through the trouble of leaving you info? Check it! Yesterday I left him a voicemail saying I was leaving my phone at home to charge while I was out getting stuff at the store. When I came home my phone showed 4 missed calls and 2 voicemails from him. !!!
Yay Bob! And fingers crossed that Second Look person becomes First Offer person for msbelle!
I just got rid of my cell phone. Decided the expense didn't warrant hanging on to something I never used. I only got it for two reasons: 1) so my daughter could have a cell phone when she still had crappy credit and 2) to have during the F2F. Her credit's improved enough, she got her own cell phone recently and I'm saving $60 a month. Yay. I might get a tracphone, though. Just to have something. But it wouldn't be a monthly fee to worry about.

MAJOR SCALLION PANCAKE FAIL
Our cell phone plan charges for texting so we don't use it. I have nothing against texting, I just don't want to pay for it.
Yeah, that was my thing against texting too. I was charged ten cents a text either way. Then fifteen. Then twenty. At which point during my road trip it made sense to just pay five bucks for 300 texts since after 25 texts, they're basically free.
Now I wonder why I resisted so long. It's very useful and fun. Unfortunately, my phone is not a Smartphone and has very little memory for texts, so I can only save about twenty texts to treasure forever. I have to delete old gems to make room for more.
Belated congrats to Allyson! So psyched, and can't wait to "meet" Sam.

Congrats, Allyson!
I resisted texting b/c I hated doing it on a numberical keypad. Then I got an iPhone, and that was that. I'd still rather talk on the phone for a long conversation, but yeah, texting has lots of uses.

There's thing thing you can buy that'll let you read the memory card in your cellphone for retrieving and saving text messages, deleted phone numbers, etc. If you're interested I can try to find the link....
