(Personally, I think she just needs a less complicated phone.)
Jitterbug!
I like texting for things like just now when Bob texted me on his way out of the hospital after his appointment. He could tell me what was up without sharing it with the world (or being distracted driving by calling me from the car). Sure he could have wait until he got home to update me but he knew I'd be waiting for news. (good, btw, he can lift things again!)
(good, btw, he can lift things again!)
There goes his excuse for not doing something because he's pinned down by Uncle Bud. Good news anyway!
mostly I text to DH at work - because I never know if he can answer the phone or not.
and on the Bart train when I want my sister to notice the hair/outfit of someone on the BART
There goes his excuse for not doing something because he's pinned down by Uncle Bud.
Seriously! He's been lifting the dog lately anyway despite the 10 lb lifting restriction. There was no way to stop him. He likes to cuddle the dog!

more coffee is needed, but I am feeling too lazy to walk to get it.

Please tell me I did not just agree to go to a 6 am workout class on Thursday. It was just a bad dream, right?
more coffee is needed, but I am feeling too lazy to walk to get it.
This happened to me after hiking on Saturday morning. I really needed an iced coffee and was too lazy to go up to the DD to get one and then it was too late for coffee and I spent the rest of the day in a fog. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!!
msbelle, that's a pretty good argument in favor of texting, for sure. Perhaps, someday, I'll find a reason to text on a regular basis, but at least now I have a phone that it's easier (QWERTY keyboard) to do it with.
