And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Let this be a warning to all who have old nail polish sitting around - I tried to open a bottle to see how old it was, it shattered in my hand, and I'm posting this from the ER. Took a huge slice out of my thumb. Lots of blood. Ouch.

Another victim of the polish wars. Keep your blood where it belongs!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Jessica, that sucks! I hope it's not too bad. Are you getting stitches?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ouch! Jessica, I hope they fix you up quickly and painlessly. I will be very careful with nail polish.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

The "farmers market" was a disappointment this morning. Only one booth had produce. Everything else was spices, bread, nuts, and such. Nicole and I each got a loaf of bread that sounded nummy.

Then it was mani/pedi time. So relaxing. Now I'm home and contemplating chores vs nap. CJ got invited to a professional lacrosse game so he won't be home until later than usual.

Oh, dear. I'm sorry, Jessica.

Because books.

Ouch, Jessica! Man, maybe my really old polishes should just quietly go away ...

It's hot as fuck and muggy here, too. But Sara has her ears pierced (again), and she's happy as a clam, so let's hope they don't get infected this time around.

I would come organize and straighten all of your houses. It's this one I have no interest in anymore.

All my polishes are put away somewhere that I cannot remember. The downside of all my fast "cleaning" for the house showings.

Punishingly Intricate

I'm over my hissy of yesterday. Don't know why that sent me to 11, but it did. Now back to zen. But I don't think I'll try any more bra shopping this weekend.

I just read through the bra-buying pain posts. And, I can relate. I have a few Wacoals that work well even if they are kind of spendy. What I'm thinking you need to do is find a bra that fits in the cup and get the straps altered. I don't think it would be hard for a competent tailor to do and probably not that expensive (I go to Sanitate on Chestnut, btw).

For my wedding dress my dress lady is going to have me buy a few bras, see what works the best, and then alter the bra to fit exactly. I'm very excited about this! And wish she could do it for all my bras.

I am loafing on the couch and drinking a delicious beer after riding 36 hard miles today. I am filthy but beer was > shower. Soon shower then store to get something to make for dinner.
