Oh, the thing about eating morels now is that he can't really. Mushrooms are on the no fly list with his ostomy. When that's reversed though he'll be able to again but they'll be out of season. (But we'll try to look for some that we can dry and freeze and he's going out to Michigan next weekend and hopefully will hunt some there that he can have sent home after they are dried.)
Man, Kat, that's some complicated business. Good luck!
I was just thinking how
It's more than that though.
Julia's husband doesn't seem like "one of them" as much as Christina does. And once Max asked her something about Daddy losing his temper and if her dad ever had, and she said yes, and he said something like "like Daddy" and she said "no, nothing like Daddy." Which is what made me really start noticing how close she is with her in-laws.
Thanks, Zen & Kat-- I think I'm okay, although the finger that was cut deepest didn't want to stop bleeding (I'm on bandage #3 and it finally seems to have slowed down) and it's starting to throb.
Feh. I feel like such a noodge.
Today is the last day of classes for Spring semester. Yay!
Please pass some of that house-selling luck Bob-ward if you don't mind.
Passed! Thanks again, y'all. I'm off to enjoy a delicious brew of hops, yeast, malt, and barley.
Okay, so I
am
going into the hospital Monday. Glad that's cleared up. Not at all last minute.
We need to whitefont the specific show discussion of Parenthood since this is non-NAFDA natter.
Great, now Florida is trying to pass a law similiar to Oklahoma's. Well this one is "nicer" because it will allow women to opt out of actually seeing the ultrasound if they sign a waiver. They still have to hear a description.
I have to stay away from the online comments there are a bunch of people trying to justify this as "informed consent".
Here's a stupid logistical question about laws like that. Who is paying for the ultrasound?
