Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Apparently they locked down part of USC and evacuated a library because of a bomb threat. Seems to be a hoax, though. People==tossers.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, Erin, those are super cute. And I've been wanting brown and black shoes! Hmmmm.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Where should I go for dinner before the theatre? Amanda's Feel Good Fresh Food (healthy fast food), Crepes A Go Go (crepes), or the Pakistani taqueria (burritos or Indian/Pakistani food, but not Pakistani burritos)?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Did I mention "very comfortable?"

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Adorable Erin, they look slightly Fluevog-ish.

I am having a beer and trying to decide what to do for dinner. I kinda want to go out, but a school night for mac and the need to use up kitchen stuff won't let me. hmmm

We love it when newspapers put the wrong picture with a headline. But this one is just ridiculous. It's the President. You may have seen him before. You know who he's not? Malcolm X. And while it would certainly be newsworthy if the deceased civil rights activist was interested in Iowa's wind energy, our bet is he's got other things on his mind.

See, I'm usually all about going "How dare they!" except, there was another story about Malcolm X's killer or somesuch...it was actually just that the rotating pictures and the rotating stories on their front page got out of synch. NOT actually that they randomly picked a photo of Malcolm X instead of Obama.

Sure, but if I were the lone voice of disagreement and you and twenty other people were giving me links and cites and facts, I think I'd be a lot less likely to really engage. Look, I'm not saying I think Shari had a great argument; her responses did seem sort of dismissive to me. But I think it's a huge leap from there to "troll," that's all.

What Kate P said. And I do wish Shari would engage on other topics than just the occasional "hey, don't forget there's a Republican lurker out there!" cause I do recall it sounds like she's got some interesting life going on (though heck, for all I know she's all up in, like, the Music thread or something)

And I really agree that I found erika's saying "we" and "go find a bridge" offensive, too. But I'm not telling her to go away.

...and now I'm late and the conversation has totally moved on and blah blah blah I'm totally bringing it up again...just ignore me. :)

Shari has talked about things other than politics. Sure, none of it as hot a topic, perhaps, but I've engaged with her on other things.

Can we drop the "worthy method/topic of engaging" now? If you don't want to talk to Shari about, say, Jamaican Jewry or what she mentions about her home life, that's not her fault. That's your choice.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Kudos to you, Erika, for the apology. Apologizing ain't easy and you did it well.
