Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Which is short form for "There is no more New Guy. I am dizzy with New Guy's Work."

Huh. Did New Guy leave on his own? or was he shown the door?

Our wings are not tired.

In non-fandom news, I love my team. I am going to die from work crazy, but I love my team.

ita, the entire time you were looking for work, I sympathized with your anguish. And now I am so completely over the moon to read how much you like your job. Yay.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Please tell me he got a cock-punch before getting let go.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Let us know if you need an alibi.

Sounds like it might be her team that needs the alibi.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There was some door-showing. And not enough transition. Every time I hear the words "status report" or "financials" I get a clutching feeling.

The guys left over? Great guys. I hope I can do them justice with my two jobs instead of just the one.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Did you all know that it's National walk@lunch day? [link]

And it's not raining, for a change, so I guess I am going outside soon.

Because books.

Well, I certainly hope some of the monumental slack they showed New Guy gets transferred to you. Two jobs is no fun.

Always Anti-fascist!

Shari, I'm going to get some guts and say what's on my mind here. We're not talking to you, not because we disagree(although we do, mostly, gotta say) but because we think you're a troll and an energy creature who wants to see us implode when you bring up incendiary topics. Which I think is lame and sad for you. You just pop in, suck the air from the room and are gone. As far as I am concerned, you should find a bridge somewhere and leave us alone if you don't really want to be a part of things here. If I'm off-base, stay and comment, but I think it's telling that you show up at times like that and want to dictate where the conversation goes at all times.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, a couple years ago, our DSM quit, and my boss and I split her duties, so I was working my ass off for a couple months until we hired a replacement. Best of luck, ita.

Coding and Sleeping

I don't think Shari is a troll, I thought the immigration conversation was pretty good one. I don't have a lot to add to it since I don't have personal experiences to add, and nobody appears to be arguing that the Arizona law is a good one.
