Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It was in b.org somewhere. Music?

I've never liked the national day of prayer because it's the President asking people to pray in an official capacity. It seems like an active endorsement of religion. I've also never gotten really got worked up about it either. What would happen if we had an atheist president (maybe by 2148)?

Somewhere online (a blog, I believe) last week, I read a quote from the British PM debate in which the candidate replied to a question about an upcoming visit to the UK by the pope and the ongoing abuse scandal with the Catholic Church by starting off with, "I'm not a person of faith myself, but my wife and children are Catholic..." and the blogger pointed out how we'd never hear a national candidate admit to not being a "person of faith."

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ah! I missed that part. That I do take issue with. But if it were "just a holiday", I wouldn't have much issue with it.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am off to the PO. One of the only good things about my office move (lunch with Scola being the main one) is that the local PO here is one of my favorite buildings in the city, awesome interior, I dream of living in it. But it is still a PO and I need to mail something Media, so I actually have to stand in line and deal with a clerk, so I may still get into a fist fight.
