Oh my god. What can it be? We're all doomed! Who's flying this thing!? Oh right, that would be me. Back to work.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

This is sort of weird, but I seem to have fallen off the radar when people are collecting money for various Buffista gifts.

Me too!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I am sitting on my balcony in Naples, FL, looking out at the Gulf. Envy me for a few hours (until I have to go have dinner with my other Board members). Next year's meeting is San Antonio, San Diego or Santa Monica.

Oh, lovely! I am still skimming while printing out compositions on ID vs. creationism. No need to be jealous of me!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Librarian Warlord

Yay, Sam!

I wish my DH could have come on this trip, but there was too much going on at his office, and we were just gone for a week.

I worked with one of the professors who came up with the idea of branding the idea of intelligent design so as to get it taught in classrooms. We used to remark on how, as he got older, he looked more like an ape every year.

He really did, too.

Oh! Yes, the tat is lovely work, Allyson. Nice lines, and the artist did a wonderful job -- sketch AND tat artists.

Who did the drawings, again? I know the name, but I am blanking, and want to tell Dan, so he can fanboy.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Lovely Sam tat!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Love the Sam tat, Allyson.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Nope. Toronto, Tampa, or Tahoe

I'd think Hertford, Hereford, or Hampshire. Because hurricanes hardly happen.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

The cartoonish drawings were done by Dave Dorman, but the tat was drawn on the fly by the tattoo artist who also did my atom.

He wanted to name the bat Julian.

When I was getting it done, another customer asked what I was getting, and I told him it was a bat. He said, "you're too cute for a bat, you know?"

The tattoo artist cocked his head and said, "I have no idea what that's supposed to mean. It's a cute bat."
