I think anyone who gives a friend (even a dear, longtime friend/housemate) a laptop pretty much NEVER qualifies as evil or classless. IJS.
Heh. Just yesterday I was like, so how many future birthdays and Christmases does an iPod and laptop cancel out??
Frankly, I'm expecting a Ted Haggard scenario somewhere down the line for him. The way he's all obsessed with presenting a more "family-friendly" (read: less gay) image for figure skating strikes me as very reminiscent of these Bible-thumping conservatives that are always getting called out by the male escorts they hire or cops they proposition in men's rooms.
I get the same read.
Also, his endless inane commentary has actually driven me away from watching Olympic skating. And I used to love watching skating.
Okay, gotta get out the door. Have good days, everyone!
How Europeans See America (Map)
Of course, it would be far more accurate if that map only included California, NYC, Texas. And maybe the White House.

Yeah. Also, Al Capone in Chicago.
I get Brian Boitano and Bronson Pinchot mixed up visually. I also had no idea Scott Hamilton was not gat, but I don't think I have watched figure skating since Brain Boitano was at the Olympics.
I'm not sure if the two are related but has anyone taken probiotics and felt nauseous after about a week in? I've experienced the same symptoms with pill form (Align) and liquid (raspberry kefir) form. It's like a certain level of biotics build up in my stomach and suddenly my system has to kick them out.
I take acidophilus daily (And I am still unsure how to spell it) without any problems, but everyone's gut is different. I have learned the hard way not to take any kind of supplements on an empty stomach, because they can make me nauseous.
I swear by acidophilus and digestive enzymes as the only way I can continue drinking coffee and othe acidic foods wihtout killing my stomach.
Mmm. I have a touch of whipping cream left over from last night's cooktravaganza, and I have it in my espresso this morning.
Delicious.
My friend Kelly made the roasted cauliflower for me a few years ago, and I have added it to my rotation. Delish.
Dan has dropped a few pounds, so it is my mission to fatten him up -- 118! OMG. I married a supermodel! -- and to nutrify him, so tonight will be spinach salad with the leftovers from last nights roast chicken with feta, red pepper, mushrooms, glazed walnuts, dried cran and a lemon-dijon vinaigrette. And he gets peanut butter ice cream for dessert, whereas I get a lemom yogurt parfait. My metabolism is NOT like his.
I need to get out and walk more.
Wait, Scott Hamilton isn't gay? Buzzah?
Oh! I just remembered -- I have all of the delicious juices with lemon and butter and herbs that I saved from the roast chicken. I think I may use it for the base of a portobello-shitake soup, and serve it with a crusty garlic bread.
Foodfistas! Are we hungry, or is it just spring? It would be interesting to see if there is a spike in veg/recipe convos on past threads about this time of year; I KNOW there is around the holidays!
