Alternatively: there's not much time for world-building and exploration and suspense and surprise when you've got to wrap everything up in an hour.
I think my main problem with the classic series being so long was that Channel 11 here in Chicago played it as one episode at 11:00 pm on Sunday nights, so I'd be getting really tired by the time the show ended at 12:30.
I am wanting to shop for the new place (SHOCKER!), so I am throwing this out to you all for ideas/thoughts.
My grandmother has at least 2 of these chairs: [link]
in all white and I am planning on claiming them for my back patio. Thing is they are not really comfortable, so I also plan to make cushions for them. I found this awesome fabric site: [link]
but woah! so expensive. So now I am searching for alternatives.
My mom has eleventy hundred of those chairs and I made some cushion covers for them out of vintage-y looking beach towels. For the actual cushion part, she picked up some cheapie cushions at Big Lots or something.

Ah. One of our stations had a similar schedule, except it was on Saturday nights, and I was a nightowl so I'd be up until 1 or 2 anyway.
Oh, good on DJ. I also found this: [link] which I am kinda in love with now. I could do the bottoms of the cushions in a matching green so that the print would stretch more. I mean, Monkey!, right?
Tom, that's just...disturbing.
HA. Thing is, I hate hearts.
